Khan School of Shiraz
Khan School is placed in Shiraz. This school was constructed by Allah Verdi Khan and his son in the Shah Abbas period. This monument, which used to be a theological school, has been restored several times.
Madrese e-khan is located in downtown of Shiraz. The building is full of balance, Islamic Arts and colorful tiles. This building was academy of Molasadra who is an Iranian researchers and scientists.
This theological school is found in 1615 which included 100 students who were interested in theology.
Mosaic tiling of this historical place is full of red color. The college which still in use has a fine stone-walled inner courtyard and garden.
The building can be reached via a lane off Lotf Ali Khan Zand Blvd in Shiraz.
The main building has been damaged by earthquakes of this aria and only the impressive portal at its entrance has remained this school visitors can enjoy seeing engrossing art inside the outer arch and some intricate.
