Domestic flights are more expensive: $60-$80 for a flight from Tehran to Shiraz, and $50-$60 from Tehran to Isfahan. Don't forget the prices go up during the holidays and high season. Trains are also very convenient for travelling between cities. You can take a train to almost all of main city all around the country and it would cost you almost as much as a VIP bus. However, if you are arriving by plane, there are currency exchange offices in all the airports in Iran.
